On the Amalfi Coast, terraced landscapes are an important sustainability resource with ecological, cultural, and economic value. The terraces were created in 1012 as an adaptation to difficult topographic conditions, using dry stone walls for natural drainage and biodiversity preservation.

Today, the abandonment of agriculture and the use of modern materials, such as concrete, threaten these landscapes and increase flood and landslide risks. The workshop focused on the systematic study of these local features, proposing the combination of traditional practices with new sustainable activities for the regeneration of the area.
