Remy Nicolas

 Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture

 

Dr. Nicola Remy, is a graduate in physics, holding a DEA (Diplôme d'études approfondies) and a PhD from the Polytechnic School of Nantes, with a focus on architecture.
He is an engineer specializing in acoustics and lighting studies.
He was a maître de conférence at the National Higher Architecture Schools of France and taught in Grenoble (2003-2017) and Marseille (2006-2008). Since October 2008, he has been teaching in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the University of Thessaly in Volos, in the field of architectural technology.
He specializes in acoustics, particularly in the areas of auditorium acoustics, environmental acoustics, building acoustics, and soundscapes (sound studies).
