Academic & Architectural Background
Theoklis Kanarelis was born in Athens in 1960 and is a graduate in Architecture from the University of Minnesota (USA). He has been active as an architect since 1986, with extensive research and teaching work in Greek and international academic institutions, while teaching at the Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly.
Distinctions & Exhibitions
He has received multiple distinctions in architectural competitions, and his work has been presented in major events, such as the Milan Triennale (1996) and the Biennale of Young Greek Architects (2001, 2004).
- "DOMES" Awards: Honored with the award from the international architectural review in 2012, 2013, and 2018.
- Faith & Form (AIA): Awarded in 2012 by the interfaith forum of the American Institute of Architects.
